The campaign’s focus is a website called EveryKickCounts.com. There users can start a kick, continue a kick that’s been sent to them, upload video of themselves juggling a soccer ball, track all kicks that are being circulated around the world, or zoom in on just the kicks they are participating in via the site’s centerpiece: a dynamic, kick-charting globe. Anyone who starts a ball identifies himself with name, country and city. So once a kick begins, a visual string begins on the animated globe, with a marker identifying every stop the ball makes along the way. A donation ticker will also be visible, keeping track of how much money has been donated globally to the One-to-One campaign as a result of the effort in real time.
In order to start a kick in Every Kick Counts, the user must enter at least one email address of a friend to whom the kick should go. That friend will receive an email from the kick initiator, and from Ronaldinho himself, encouraging them to, in turn, kick the ball on to their friends. It’s easy to watch the Ronaldinho kick count to see how one kick could quickly become scores, hundreds - even thousands of kicks deep in no time.
